I started work in the rigging loft for the first year learning about splicing rope and wires. I then went on work in a variety of rolls including work on dismantle type dredger. As a first dredge master the included me operating the dredger on my own while in command of the dredger and support craft during this time I was working very closely with the manager and the superintendent.
