Job Description/Skills Required:

• The position is basically to support an accelerated implementation plan for Pharmacy Centralized Order Entry Project (COE).
• The resource must have sound knowledge of MedComm RX applications and below are some of the tasks expect by the Product Analyst to perform.
• Meetings
• Facility kickoff meetings – 1-3 per week
• COE Technical Status Meeting – weekly (Monday)
• MedComm Log review – weekly (Tuesday)
• COE action log review – weekly (Tuesday)
• HCA weekly status call with McKesson Tech team (Wednesday)
• EFL/WFL/GCD MedComm technical update – weekly (Wednesday)
• MedComm/COE Implementation: GCD weekly facility status call – weekly (Thursday)
• MedComm/Coe Implementation: Florida weekly facility status call – weekly (Friday)
• MedComm Rx CSS call – weekly
• COE Issues meeting – monthly
• COE Business Meeting – monthly
• Continued support for Florida and Houston facility implementation – set-up and configuration activity
• Level 2/3 support for technical and functional issues – pre and post implementation
• Support for the MedComm Rx product audit – documentation, auditor set-up for system access, respond to questions, etc..
• Report development
• Houston RDC architecture conversion from virtual to physical servers
• MedComm Rx version 7.0 gap analysis
• Projects:
• Bar code effort
• New ‘hot fix’ from McKesson – performance test and coordinate roll-out
• Alerts – development
• Develop printer troubleshooting tool Support high, medium, and low priority break/fixes, enhancement, and/or modifications
